- Infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or legal rights of others.
2. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use Foxnett’s services for any of the following activities:
A. Illegal Activities
- Hosting, distributing, or linking to content that is illegal under applicable law.
- Engaging in fraud, phishing, identity theft, or impersonation.
- Storing or sharing pirated software, copyrighted content without authorization, or counterfeit goods.
B. Security Violations & Network Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, database, or account.
- Launching denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or any activity intended to disrupt services.
- Distributing viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or other malicious code.
- Conducting unauthorized network scanning, probing, or vulnerability testing.
C. Email & Messaging Abuse
- Sending spam, bulk unsolicited emails, or chain letters.
- Using our servers for email harvesting or operating mailing lists without explicit opt-in consent.
- Using misleading headers, forged sender addresses, or deceptive practices in electronic communications.
D. Harmful or Abusive Content
- Hosting or promoting content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, or discriminatory.
- Hosting content related to child exploitation, terrorism, or violent extremism (will be reported to relevant authorities).
- Hosting adult, pornographic, or sexually explicit material, unless expressly permitted by Foxnett on specific specialized plans.
E. Resource Abuse
- Consuming excessive CPU, RAM, bandwidth, or disk I/O that negatively impacts other customers on shared infrastructure.
- Running resource-heavy scripts, autonomous bots, or mining cryptocurrency without prior written approval.
- Operating public proxy servers, open relays, or anonymizing services (e.g., Tor exit nodes) without authorization.
3. Domain & Third-Party Service Use
- Domains registered through Foxnett must comply with all ICANN policies and registry-specific terms.
- Third-party email and productivity services (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoho Mail) procured through us must not be used for spamming, phishing, or any unlawful activities, strictly adhering to the respective provider's AUP.
4. Customer Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or originating from your allocated IP addresses.
- You must keep your login credentials, API keys, and passwords secure and not share them with unauthorized users.
- You are responsible for maintaining and securing backups of your data unless you have subscribed to a managed backup service.
5. Enforcement & Remediation
- Violations of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension, service termination, or legal action depending on severity.
- Foxnett reserves the right to actively investigate suspected violations, review traffic patterns, and take appropriate mitigation action.
- We may remove, disable access to, or modify content that violates this AUP without prior notice.
6. Changes to the AUP
Foxnett may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time to reflect emerging threats or operational changes. Updated versions will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes full acceptance of the updated AUP.
